Stridekick is the broader tool: free challenges in leaderboard, streak and target modes, a community of other steppers, and connections to Fitbit, Garmin, Withings, Polar, Xiaomi, Apple Watch or a phone. Stepr does one format, the elimination league where the daily goal climbs and the last one walking wins, and it refuses manual entry so nobody can type a number.

Questions people ask
Can people type in steps on Stepr?
No. There is no manual entry. Steps are read from the iPhone's motion sensor and Apple Health, signed by the phone, and every player can see which kind of device recorded each count.
Does Stepr have a leaderboard?
Every league has standings with each player's total, but the winner is the last one still clearing the daily goal, not the highest total. Total steps only decide a tie.
Does Stepr work with Fitbit or Garmin?
Yes, as long as the device writes its steps to Apple Health on the player's iPhone.
