GiddyUp and Stepr both launched in 2026 for people who want a step challenge with friends. GiddyUp is a race: create or join one, invite your crew, climb a live leaderboard, collect coins and dress up your racer. Stepr is an elimination league: one daily goal that everyone shares and that rises each day, out when you miss it, last one walking wins, with steps signed by the phone so nothing can be typed.

Both are free to download and play. In Stepr only the host of a league pays, and hosting is free during launch.
Can you be eliminated in Stepr and come back?
Not in the same league. League Pro leagues can grant free passes that forgive a missed day before it eliminates you.
